STEVEN F. RETZLOFF
Steven Retzloff serves as Chairman of Allegiance Bank and CEO of Allegiance Bancshares, Inc. With 30 years of Houston banking experience, he served as a Director and twice as Chairman of a publicly traded multi-billion dollar financial institution. His past work experience also includes General Motors, Bristol Myers, Retzloff Capital Corporation and CEO of Travis Body & Trailer, Inc. Additionally, Steve serves on the Boards of the Houston Food Bank, Greater Houston Partnership, Open Door Mission, Faith in Practice, and as Vice President of the Kinkaid School Investments Foundation. As a native Texan and a lifelong Houstonian, he received an Industrial Engineering degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology in 1979 and an MBA with distinction from the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University in 1981.
George Martinez serves as Chairman of Allegiance Bancshares, Inc. and Vice Chairman of Allegiance Bank. He served as Chief Executive Officer from 2007 to 2019. Before founding Allegiance, he was co-founder of a multi-billion dollar publicly traded financial institution in 1974 and served from 1980 to 2001 as their Chief Executive Officer. George is a former director of Cornerstone Building Brands, a company traded on the NYSE. Active in the Houston community, he serves as an Emeritus Member of the Board of Advisors for the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University. Martinez was inducted into the Texas Bankers Hall of Fame in April 2017 and recognized for his valuable contributions to the Texas banking industry. In 2004, he was awarded the Ethical Leadership in Action Award from the University of St. Thomas Center for Business Ethics and in 2021 he was a recipient of the Texas Bankers Association 50-Year Banker Award. George earned a B.A. degree in Business Administration and Economics from Rice University in 1963.
RAMON A. (RAY) VITULLI III
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Ramon (Ray) Vitulli serves as Chief Executive Officer of Allegiance Bank and President of Allegiance Bancshares, Inc. He has over 30 years of banking experience, getting his start as a loan review examiner at Charter National Bank in Houston, then moving to Sterling Bank until joining Allegiance Bank in 2007, prior to the bank’s opening. Ray serves on the Texas Bankers Association Board, the St. Pius X High School Foundation and School Board, the CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare Board, and the Bluehenge Capital Partners Limited Partner Advisory Board. He is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.
OKAN I. AKIN
PRESIDENT & CHIEF RISK OFFICER
Okan Akin serves as President and Chief Risk Officer of Allegiance Bank and Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of Allegiance Bancshares, Inc. He has over 20 years’ experience in the banking industry in Houston. Mr. Akin joined Independence Bank as Senior Credit Officer in August 2002. He was promoted to Chief Credit Officer in 2004 and later promoted to President in August 2009. He served as CEO of Independence Bank from July 2010 to November 15, 2013. Independence Bank merged with and into Allegiance Bank, the wholly owned subsidiary of Allegiance Bancshares, Inc., effective November 15, 2013. Since joining Allegiance Bank in 2013, he has held the position of Regional President, Deputy Chief Credit Officer and Chief Administration Officer. Okan holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Houston.

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Paul Egge serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Allegiance Bank and Allegiance Bancshares, Inc. He has over 15 years of financial services experience, predominantly as an investment banker focused on providing strategic and capital markets advisory services to banks and specialty finance companies. Prior to joining Allegiance in 2016, Paul served as Director of Capital Planning and Corporate Development for Cadence Bank, a $9.4 billion asset regional bank at the time. He graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from The College of William & Mary and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
ROMI L. SANDEL
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & CHIEF CREDIT OFFICER
Romi Sandel serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Allegiance Bank. As a banker and former bank examiner with the Texas Department of Banking in Houston, Romi has over 30 years of banking experience. She joined Allegiance Bank through the Post Oak Bank merger in October 2018, where she was most recently the Chief Credit Officer of Post Oak Bank for 14 years. She holds a BBA in Finance from Sam Houston State University.
STACY J. DAVIS
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER
Stacy Davis serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Allegiance Bank. She brings more than 20 years of human resource, organizational development, talent management, and learning and development experience to Allegiance. Most recently, Stacy served as Senior Vice President and Director of Talent and Organizational Development at BOK Financial. Stacy holds a B.S. degree in Public Relations/Education and M.Ed. from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Ph.D. in Workforce Analytics from Oklahoma State University.

Doug Skiba serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Allegiance Bank. He has over 30 years of professional IT experience including “Big 4” and boutique systems consulting to a variety of industries. He has spent the last 20 years focused primarily within the Financial Services sector where he lead software engineering for a leading FinTech provider, and IT architecture and strategy for a $31 billion asset regional bank. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree and graduated with honors from Carnegie Mellon University.
