Business eBanking

First Time Log-On Instructions

  • Enter your Company ID previously provided to you.
  • Enter User ID excluding special characters.
  • Out of Band Authentication will identify you.
  • Enter temporary password previously provided to you, then follow the prompts for password reset instructions.

Does Allegiance Bank offer bill payment via online banking?

Yes. Allegiance Bank offers bill pay at no cost.

ACH Origination

What is happening with ACH and wire transfers?

All valid wire and ACH recipients and templates are converting to Allegiance Business eBanking. All scheduled and recurring ACH and Wire Transfers are NOT converting and will need to be reset in the system after Monday, February 25.  

Are my ACH templates and recipients converting to Business eBanking?

Yes, any ACH templates and recipients with valid account information will convert.

Wire Transfers

What is happening with ACH and wire transfers?

All valid wire and ACH recipients and templates are converting to Allegiance Business eBanking. All scheduled and recurring ACH and Wire Transfers are NOT converting and will need to be reset in the system after Monday, February 25.  

How will my wire transfer be handled at Allegiance Bank?

Post Oak Bank will continue to process wire transfers through February 22, 2019. Allegiance Bank will then process your wire transfer requests beginning Monday, February 25, 2019.

  • The cut-off time for outgoing domestic wires is 4:00 pm CST.
  • The cut-off time for outgoing international wires is 2:30 pm CST.

What is the SWIFT code for international wires?

As of February 25, 2019, the SWIFT code for international wires to Allegiance Bank will be ALTXUS44.

How do I contact the wire transfer department?

Please call 281-894-3200 to be connected with a banking representative who will assist you.

How do I initiate an outgoing wire transfer?

To initiate an outgoing wire transfer, call 281-894-3200 and speak with a representative or call your Bank Officer.

Lockbox

Will I be able to access my Lockbox in Business eBanking?

Yes, you can access Lockbox under the Account Services/Lockbox menu.  

Will my User ID and password change for Lockbox?

No, you will enter the same User ID and password to access your Lockbox.

Remote Deposit Capture

How will I access Remote Deposit Capture?

You may access Remote Deposit Capture through Allegiance Business eBanking System under the Account Services menu. You will be required to enter your login credentials for Remote Deposit Capture.

Other Questions

What is happening to the scheduled transfers or loan payments?

Scheduled and recurring internal transfers and loan payments are NOT converting for business customers. These will need to be reset in Business eBanking on or after Monday, February 25.

Will my historical electronic statements be available for viewing?

Yes, Post Oak customers enrolled in eStatements will have up to 18 rolling months of online statements available.

How will I access Allegiance Bank’s eBanking?

Effective Monday, February 25, 2019 you can access eBanking at AllegianceBank.com. Go to eBanking on the homepage and Select Personal and/or Business.

Is there a fee associated with online banking?

As an Allegiance Bank customer, you will be able to take advantage of eBanking at no charge.

Will I have access to any of my previous online transaction history from Post Oak Bank?

Yes. You will have access to at minimum 90 days previous online transaction history.

Will I have the ability to receive electronic statements rather than paper statements?

Yes, Post Oak customers enrolled in eStatements will have up to 18 rolling months of online statements available.

What browsers and operating systems are supported?

To best interact with the Allegiance Bank website, find supported browsers and download/upgrade details here

Personal eBanking

First Time Log-On Instructions

  • Enter your user ID in all lowercase. For example, if your current username is @JohnSmith18, enter @johnsmith18.
  • Out of Band Authentication will identify you.
  • Enter your Post Oak password. You will be required to change your password.

Will my existing User ID work?

The existing User ID will be used in all lower case letters. Example: @JohnSmith18 will need to be entered as @johnsmith18.

How will the system authenticate me as a user?

We will use Out of Band Authentication as the security method used to identify you are logging in.

What if I never used Bill Pay with Post Oak’s Online Banking?

You will need to enroll into Bill Pay.

Will the nicknames for my accounts still exist in Allegiance Bank’s Online Banking?

Nicknames will not automatically transfer. You will be able to re-enter these on or after February 25.

How much of my account history will be present in the new system?

You will have up to a minimum 90 days of historical transaction history. History will continue to build going forward for a rolling 18 months.

Will my Alerts still exist in Allegiance Bank’s eBanking?

Alerts will not automatically transfer. You will need to re-enter these on or after Monday, February 25.

What will happen to the internal transfers that I had set up?

For Personal eBanking users, your internal transfers will be transferred to the new system. However, we suggest you verify your transfer settings on Monday, February 25 to ensure that there is no interruption.

What will happen to payments and/or recurring payments I had scheduled to be paid after the conversion?

Most existing payees, payments, and recurring payments will be automatically transferred to Personal eBanking.

  • Some payees and payments may not transfer and will need to be re-entered on or after Monday, February 25, 2019.
  • Some of these payments may be eligible to be scheduled via People Pay or External Transfers, available in Personal eBanking.
  • We suggest you verify your payees and recurring payment schedule(s) on or after Monday, February 25, 2019 to ensure that your payment(s) are paid by the due date.

 

Will my account be debited on the same day for payments sent through Bill Pay?

We want to make you aware of Bill Pay system processing differences that will impact you when scheduling and processing your payment(s).

  • Payments previously scheduled in the Post Oak Bank Bill Pay system will be rescheduled by taking the Due Date established and adding a 2 business day lead time for Electronic payments and a 5 business day lead time for Check payments; ex.) an Electronic payment with a Due Date of February 28, 2019 will be rescheduled with a Send On Date of February 26, 2019; your account will be debited on the new Send On Date instead of the previous Due Date.
  • Sufficient funds are required in your account by 3:00pm on the Send On Date for all one-time, scheduled and recurring payment(s).
  • If there are not sufficient funds in your account on the Send On Date, your payment(s) will fail and will not be processed. Please re-schedule your payment(s) on a date when the account will have sufficient funds available.
    • You should review all your scheduled and recurring payments to identify when your account will be debited and verify that you will have sufficient funds available on the date designated as Send On Date.
  • If a bill payment fails, you will need to reschedule the payment(s).

If I am already enrolled in Post Oak Bank’s online banking, will I have to re-enroll in online banking with Allegiance Bank?

If you use Post Oak Bank’s online banking, you will be enrolled automatically in Allegiance Bank’s eBanking effective Monday, February 25, 2019. You will receive a separate communication in the coming weeks with instructions on how to login and continue to use eBanking.

How will I access Allegiance Bank’s eBanking?

Effective Monday, February 25, 2019 you can access eBanking at AllegianceBank.com. Go to eBanking on the homepage and Select Personal and/or Business.

Checking Accounts

Will my account number change?

The large majority of checking account numbers will not change. Those customers affected by an account number change will receive a separate notification. 

Will I need to order new checks?

No. You may continue to use your checks from Post Oak Bank. If you order checks through Allegiance Bank, any new check orders after February 25, 2019 will have the Allegiance Bank routing number and Allegiance Bank logo.

What if I currently order checks from another vendor?

You may continue to do so in the future, but if you choose to order checks from another service, such as a mail order supplier, you will need to provide them with your new routing number (113025723) and inform them your account number has been acquired by Allegiance Bank.

If I write a check before the conversion and it doesn’t clear before the conversion, will it be paid?

Yes, all of your checks will be paid out of your account subject to availability of funds. You will not need to take any action in order to facilitate this process.

Do I need to do anything to continue to receive my direct deposit?

No. Your direct deposit will continue without interruption.

Will I need a new Visa Debit Card?

No. You will continue to use your existing Visa Debit Card without interruption.

Will my current Visa Debit Card Personal Identification Number (PIN) stay the same?

Yes.

Will my debit card number change?

No.

What are my ATM/Debit Card Cash Withdrawal and Point of Sale Daily Limits?

Your ATM/Debit Card has a $500 Daily Withdrawal Limit, a $1,500 Daily Point of Sale Limit for consumer and a $2,000 Daily Point of Sale Limit for business.

When will I receive my first Allegiance Bank bank statement?

Post Oak Bank will mail you a statement that will cover the period from your last regular Post Oak Bank statement date up to the date of conversion. Your first statement from Allegiance Bank will cover the period from February 25, 2019 to your next regular statement date.

Will I receive my checking account statements at the same time each month?

Allegiance Bank has two statement cycle dates. Personal accounts cycle on the 15th of each month and business accounts cycle at month end.

Will my deposits be FDIC-insured after the conversion?

Yes. Your deposits will continue to be insured up to the limit of $250,000 established by the FDIC. When two or more insured banks merge, deposits from Post Oak Bank are separately insured from Allegiance Bank for 6 months after the legal merger (10/1/2018). Contact your Bank Officer or call 281-894-3200 for more information.

Does Allegiance Bank waive fees for ATM transactions?

Allegiance Bank will not charge you a fee for using an Allegiance Bank ATM. If you conduct your ATM transaction at an ATM owned by a financial institution other than Allegiance Bank, Allegiance Bank will automatically refund the fee.

Does Allegiance Bank waive Insufficient Funds fees?

Allegiance Bank does not offer waivers of insufficient funds fees as a feature of any account relationship package.

Who do I call if there is an error on my statement?

Please notify Allegiance Bank of any errors regarding your account, such as unauthorized transactions, within 15 days from the date we mail or electronically provide you with your first account statement. You may call 281-894-3200 and ask to speak with your account representative.

Savings Accounts

How many free withdrawals and/or transfers will I be able to make per quarter?

You may make six (6) withdrawals and/or transfers per quarter.

How often will interest be compounded on my Savings Account?

Interest is compounded and credited quarterly.

Will there be changes in my interest rate on my account?

Interest rates are adjusted as market conditions change. Please contact your Bank Officer or call 281-894-3200 for more information.

Money Market Accounts

How many free withdrawals and/or transfers will I be able to make per month?

You may make six (6) withdrawals and/or transfers per month.

How often will interest be compounded on my Money Market Account?

Interest is compounded and credited monthly.

Will there be changes in the interest rate on my account?

Interest rates are adjusted as market conditions change. Please contact your Bank Officer or call 281-894-3200 for more information.

Certificates of Deposit (CD) and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA)

Will the rate on my CD or IRA change?

The interest rate on CDs and IRAs will remain the same until the first maturity after February 25, 2019. At that time, the fixed rate of your CD and IRA will be established based on current market conditions.

Will the term on my CD or IRA change?

 The terms for your CD or IRA will remain unchanged.

Will my CD and IRA be FDIC-insured after the conversion?

Separate insurance up to $250,000 for CDs issued by Post Oak Bank remains in place until CD maturity.

Will I continue to receive CD or IRA statements monthly, if previously scheduled?

Allegiance Bank sends pre-renewal notices only. You may also access the information for your CD and IRA through Personal eBanking.

What penalties are charged for early withdrawals on a CD or IRA?

If you hold a Certificate of Deposit (CD), early withdrawal penalties will continue to apply. Effective February 25, 2019, early withdrawal penalties are as follows:

  • CD or IRA with an original maturity of one year or less than one year will have an early withdrawal fee equal to 30 days interest calculated on the amount withdrawn.
  • CD or IRA with an original maturity greater than one year will have an early withdrawal fee equal to 90 days of interest calculated on the amount withdrawn.

Will my CD or IRA renew automatically?

Yes. After February 25, 2019, your CD or IRA will continue to automatically renew.

When will I receive the payment distribution on my IRA?

If you have an IRA with scheduled distributions, you will continue to receive your payments in the same frequency and in the same method as before.

Lending Services

Will the terms of my loan or line of credit change?

Unless you were otherwise notified in writing, the terms of your loan will not change. The loan number will not change.

If my loan is on automatic debit from my checking account, will that still be in effect?

Yes, there will be no effect to your automatic debit for your loan payment.

Will I continue to receive a payment notice?

There will be no change to the timing of your billing. The format of the bill may be different.

Will I continue to use my payment coupons?

Yes, you may send your coupon with your payment.

Q: Will my current Telephone Banking number be changing?

A: Yes. The Allegiance Bank Telephone Banking number is 1.844.334.3814. This service is available 24 hours a day/seven days a week. 

Fraud and Dispute Claims

Q: Do I need to download a new app?

A: Yes, your current app will be available up until 3:00 PM on Friday, February 22, 2019. You will need to uninstall the Post Oak Bank app and download the Allegiance Bank Personal and/or Business app on Monday, February 25, 2019 from App Store® or Google Play™.

 

Q: How can I access mobile banking on my device?

A: Prior to accessing mobile banking on a mobile device, you will need to login to Personal eBanking or Business eBanking through a web browser. Then you will need to download the Business and/or Personal app(s) from App Store® and Google Play™. Upon your initial login you will be required to follow the enrollment prompts on your device. You will then be able to access mobile banking on your mobile device.

 

Q: How can I access mobile banking on my iPad or Android Tablet?

A: To access the Allegiance Bank iPad and Android tablet apps for personal and business eBanking, download the applications by clicking the links below or visit the App Store® and Google Play™.

 

Q: I see two apps available for download. Do I need both?

A: Allegiance Bank has two mobile apps available to download. One app is for Business Mobile Banking and the other app is for Personal Mobile Banking. The Business mobile app is clearly marked with “BUSINESS” in the app icon.

If you are both a PERSONAL and BUSINESS Mobile Banking customer, you will download both mobile apps.

Privacy Preferences

Q: Does Allegiance Bank provide nonpublic personal information to affiliates or non-affiliates?

A: No, Allegiance Bank does not share this type of information with our affiliates or our non-affiliates.

Safe Deposit Boxes

Q: Will I have access to safe deposit boxes?

A: We will continue to offer safe deposit boxes. Rental fees will continue to be debited automatically from the account you originally designated or will be billed annually to the mailing address of the box owner.
