Banker Spotlight: Tim Kreitzer

At Allegiance, we’re a family composed of the most extraordinary and experienced bankers in the industry. Over the past decade, we have created a unique culture where we not only practice what we pledge each day – but also serve our communities and each other “The Allegiance Way.” It’s a privilege to acknowledge the incredible employees who live this out.

Today we recognize Senior Vice President, Government Banking, Tim Kreitzer.

Allegiance Banker Spotlight Tim Kreitzer

What He Does

It takes a village to meet the expectations of our clients at Allegiance Bank. Behind the scenes, our team members in all departments work together to achieve the same goal. This requires relationship building, trust establishment and setting goals to meet customer expectations. As a part of one of the many departments that work together to assist customers, Tim’s team collaborates with local government entities to ensure they have the banking services needed to function efficiently.

Tim joined Allegiance Bank after working in the banking industry for 27 years, all with a large national bank. Since joining Allegiance, his eyes have been re-opened as to what is possible when you are truly committed to serving one another and the community. Tim is inspired to come to work every day and assist someone in achieving success.

Tim strives for excellence in service and works hard to take full ownership for his role. He has found that when faced with an obstacle in government banking, taking ownership is the most important thing to do. Tim works to research and communicate until any potential issue is resolved. Oftentimes, this turns what was once an obstacle into a building block and a relationship builder. Ultimately, the customer knows that Tim and the Allegiance team is always their advocate.

How He Does It

Tim’s team is from Houston, and they are proud to help their own local governments by providing services needed to thrive. Tim takes the opportunity to build his relationships properly and really make a difference. He is proud to hold a role in helping the Houston community grow and thrive, no matter how small.

The Allegiance Way

For Tim, exemplifying “The Allegiance Way” in his work is all about service and contribution. When his team is creative, productive, and inspired in their service to customers, the contributions made are reciprocated. Tim has found that often, opportunities arise out of these contributions, and everyone benefits.

When asked to share three things Tim loves about his job, he immediately answers: “The people, the culture, the community aspect of the bank.” Allegiance is a company of about 600 team members, and everyone motivates Tim to do better. Tim shares, “There are so many fantastic, caring people working at the bank, you don’t ever want to let them down. Culturally, the team is here to serve and if that is done well, our customers and communities will thrive and succeed. This is a rewarding cycle; it creates even more opportunities for Allegiance Bank to serve.”

Outside the Bank

Tim enjoys traveling, gardening, and giving back to the community with his wife of 27 years. They both look forward to exploring other parts of the country once things open back up, especially the National and State parks. Tim stays active by participating in several 100-mile bike rides for the Leukemia Society. In addition, as a University of Houston grad, Tim looks forward to supporting all things U of H and giving back to the university. Tim and his wife are proud dog parents to a shepherd and an all-American mix.
