Allegiance Way in Action This Fall
October 10, 2019: At Allegiance, we view our role as a community bank as both a privilege and a great responsibility. Our commitment doesn’t stop at helping our customers achieve their financial goals. It colors outside the lines on nights and weekends as we immerse ourselves in service to the communities in which we live and work. Here are a few examples of The Allegiance Way in action this fall
Go Red For Women: Our very own Linda Humphries, senior vice president and marketing director at Allegiance Bank will serve as the 2020 Chair for the Northwest Harris County Go Red for Women campaign. A lifetime banker and community servant, Linda was inspired to support the American Heart Association over a decade ago when her grandniece was born with a congenital heart defect. Since then, Linda has embraced the AHA’s mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives and has served on the Go Red for Women and Heart Walk leadership teams.
LatinX Business Summit: Senior Vice President and Lender Martin Montoya from our Katy location represented Allegiance Bank in his panel participation at the LatinX Business Summit. Panel members were asked to discuss multiple topics about lending to small businesses, as well as field audience questions in Spanish. The summit was held in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month to guide Hispanic entrepreneurs and inspire others to become entrepreneurs.
Texas Center for Missing Children: Allegiance Bank recently partnered with Houston’s Amber Alert provider, Texas Center for Missing Children to raise over $71,000 to support the organization. Allegiance Bank served as the Title Sponsor of the 15th Annual Amber Alert Pro-AM Golf Tournament, held at Blackhorse Golf Club in Cypress, Texas. Over 160 amateur golfers, Golf Pros and volunteers came out to support the cause. Funds raised from the event will support Houston’s Regional Amber Alert System, child and parent Internet Safety classes, Amber Alert activation training, Child ID Kits for local families, and crisis case management services for searching families.
Teams of the Week
Every week throughout the school year, Allegiance Bank celebrates the incredible talent, commitment and teamwork of area high school athletic teams. We’re thankful for the opportunity to encourage and recognize the efforts of these incredible coaches and teenagers.
