Allegiance Bankers Attend Competition Supporting Women-Led Tech Startups
Allegiance Bankers Amber Welchel and Michelle Wright attended the 2018 IGNITE Healthcare Network’s Annual Fire Pitch Competition, hosted by the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce on October 25. Women executives at the helm of eight tech startups pitched their ideas through presentations and a question and answer session, to a panel of judges to try to win funds and prizes for their companies. The presentations highlighted innovative ideas to enhance the medical field and solve the most challenging problems in healthcare. Women executives from across the country applied and eight finalists were selected.
