Allegiance Bank Supports Annual Bayou Greenway Day
April 8, 2019 – Allegiance Bank was proud to partner with the Houston Parks Board to support the fifth Annual Bayou Greenway Day on Saturday, April 6. The free family festival was held at Mason Park in Houston’s East End, amidst the progress of Bayou Greenways 2020, one of the most ambitious parks projects in the country that is transforming the bayou system into 150 miles of linear parks and hike-and-bike trails.
The outdoor festival boasted games, sports, music, food trucks and all kinds of family fun. Allegiance Bankers hosted a booth with arts, crafts and balloon animals. Some additional event highlights included football and cheer activities led by the Houston Texans, soccer games and drills with the Houston Dynamo, an Easter Egg hunt, a free 5K run/walk and a ceremony with Mayor Turner.
