Allegiance Bank in the Community
At Allegiance, we believe in making a difference, together. We appreciate our community and express that by participating, investing and giving back. Here are a few recent ways that we’ve fostered an allegiance with our community, which is our home.
May 9, 2019: Allegiance Bank served as title sponsor of the B.F. Adam Golf Classic, one of the largest non-celebrity charity golf tournaments in Houston. The event benefits the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation, established in 1970 to raise scholarship funds for high school graduates. In 2018 alone, $532,500 was awarded to 116 students, and over $8 million has been given to over 1,700 Cypress-Fairbanks ISD graduates since the organization was founded. The bank has a long-time partnership with the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation, and Allegiance Bankers Linda Humphries (SVP, Marketing Director) and Brad Bouillion (290 Bank Office President) currently serve on the foundation’s board.
May 10, 2019: Allegiance Bankers sponsored the Success to Significance Luncheon, hosted by the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto. The event serves as the council’s signature fundraiser supporting local Girl Scout programs. For more than a century, Girl Scouts has been the premier leadership organization for girls, striving to eliminate barriers and create a society in which every girl has the opportunity to achieve her full potential. Allegiance is proud to partner with the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto, and Linda Humphries also serves on the organization’s Philanthropic board.
Recent Allegiance Bank Teams of the Week
The Katy girl’s softball team was recognized by Myriam Slingerland from our Katy Pin Oak office as a Team of the Week. The Tigers had an incredible 23-2 regular season, with a number six state ranking. With a team full of seniors, we wish you all the best on your next adventure!
The Memorial Mustangs boy’s baseball team was one of the winningest teams to enter the postseason race, with a 27-4 overall record and a District 17 6A Championship. With a deep bench of talent, six team members have already committed to play in college. It was a privilege for Allegiance Banker Scott McDonald to recognize the hard-working crew as a Team of the Week.
