A New Year of The Allegiance Way in Action

The Allegiance Way doesn’t stop outside the bank; it’s carried into and lived out in the communities we call home every day. Here are a few recent examples of the Allegiance Way in action.

Allegiance Bankers Seeing and Meeting Needs

When Mara Lara at our 290 office noticed that a local school basketball team needed resources (many team members didn’t have the appropriate shoes to play), she immediately wanted to help. She collaborated with VP and Fair Banking Officer Marcus A. Vasquez, and together, Allegiance was able to present the team’s coach with a check to cover shoes for the team.

When a customer at our West Belt location experienced a tire blow out, not only did Allegiance Banker Brandon Wright rush out to the rainy parking lot to change the tire, but several of Brandon’s coworkers were quick to snap a photo and share with the Allegiance Bank leadership team to lift him up.

National Wear Red Day

On national Wear Red Day, Allegiance Bankers at all locations donned red in proud support of the American Heart Association’s campaign to spread awareness around heart disease and stroke. Allegiance is excited to further support the cause as Linda Humphries, Senior Vice President and Marketing Director of Allegiance Bank serves as chairperson of the 2020 Northwest Harris County Go Red for Women Luncheon and Auction this April.

Salute to our Heroes

Several Allegiance Bankers were honored and inspired to attend the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation’s Salute to our Heroes event featuring speaker and former U.S. Marine Josh Bleill. Proceeds from the event will help Cypress-Fairbanks ISD students pursue higher education.

Houston Food Bank

Just before the Super Bowl, several Houston ISD Westside High School Student Council members stopped by to pick up food donations collected by our Eldridge location. In total, Westside students donated 1.5 tons of canned goods for Houston Food Bank’s Souper Bowl of Caring initiative. Amazing work, Wolves!
